In this season of world unrest, we, as believers, must focus on the will of God. If we focus on the world, we will have fear overtake us. God makes it clear what we are to do. In Matthew 6, verses 31-33, He says,
“Do not be anxious then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘With what shall we clothe ourselves?’ for all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
But serve first His Kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.”
Who is elected President, or how our economy is doing, will not prevent God from adding all these things we need, as long as we seek His Kingdom first. Righteousness is being aligned to God, as sons and daughters who have an inheritance that comes through His Kingdom. We are to set our mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. Where we set our mind will determine whether we live in freedom or bondage.
Blessings this holiday season,
