How do I go about becoming a volunteer and what does a volunteer do?
To be a volunteer you must have taken a Group Training recently. This will give you information as to how we pray in the rooms, Intercessory Prayer and being a volunteer in other ways, i.e.: Office work, computer, maintenance. Every Healing Room will have different needs for volunteers, so you might want to check with you local Healing Rooms.
Once you have taken the Group Training you will be given a Pastor's Letter. You will mail or give the Pastor's letter to your pastor to be filled out. When your pastor has filled in the information he will return the letter to your Healing Room and they will make an appointment with you to come for an interview.
How can I participate with the Online Healing Rooms?
To be part of our online prayer team, you must take our Group Training and have experience volunteering with a local Healing Room. For more information, contact Mark Long. [Click here to see the email address]
How do I know I am called to volunteer?
When you become acquainted with what a volunteer does during the Group Training, you will want to pray and ask God if this is where He wants you to serve. One of the questions you will be asked in your interview is, "Do you feel called by God to pray here or are you coming as a volunteer?"
We welcome volunteers (called by God) all the time. Some feel led to pray on our team as a prayer partner, some gravitate toward Intercessory Prayer, while others are interested in Helps Ministries.
You can contact your local Healing Rooms Ministry for days and times of operation. You can also find dates and times for Group Training.
If you have further questions please contact the Healing Rooms closest to you.
