Being the Body of Christ - Cal Pierce

We need to receive the revelation of what it means to be the body of Christ.  This isn’t just a spiritual idea.  When we are re-born, filled with the Holy Spirit, we become the occupation of God in the earth.  Let’s look at Colossians 2:9-10.
“For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority.”

We are the body of Christ. (1 Cor. 12:27).  We are a spiritual body and a physical body.  This scripture tells us the fullness of the Deity or Godhead dwells in bodily form.   This is astounding, when you think about it!  When we are born again, we are made complete, He becomes our head, and we become His body on earth to establish His Kingdom here as it is in Heaven.  He is our head and He rules over and has authority over all the earth.  Luke 10:19 says.
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

He has given us authority over the enemy to carry out the rulership of His Kingdom.  The fullness of God is available to us to rule the earth.  So many Christians lack this knowledge and the enemy rules over them.  The enemy will measure you by how you see yourself.  The problem we’re having is a lack of knowledge or knowing, and that will cause us to perish in the world.

The Truth is, Jesus is our head and we are His body.  We have the mind of Christ and by the Holy Spirit, we can think supernaturally.  The power of the Godhead flows through this process.  When we embrace this with our knowing, the Holy Spirit occupies our learning capacity.  We are not limited by what we know, but unlimited by what He knows.  When we take this position, His surpassing greatness toward us brings the power to destroy the work of the enemy and live an overcoming life.
