The Healing Rooms of Lake County, co-directed by Bill and Joan Edmunds of Clearlake, CA,
became  affiliated with the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) on January 17, 2006.

Reopening in Spokane, WA, in July of l999 by Cal and Michelle Pierce, the IAHR now have almost 2,000 affiliates  around the world, "And we are one of them," we proudly proclaim.

"This had been our goal from the beginning.  Now when we are asked who's headship are we under,  we can tell them, 'The International Association of Healing Rooms out of Spokane, WA.'"

In 2003, faithful to the vision to bring the Healing Rooms to Lake County Bill and Joan shifted the focus of their mid-week home church Bible study fellowship to the ministry of healing.  In October, 2005, the co-directors of the Healing Rooms of the Napa Valley came to Clearlake to conduct our first training conference as the Healing Rooms of Lake County.  Forty-two pastors, elders and members of fourteen different Lake County churches interested in learning more about the Healing Rooms attended.  From that conference, sixteen went on to become members of the Healing Rooms prayer teams that first gathered to pray on Thursday evenings at the Neighborhood Christian Fellowship of Clearlake, 14660 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, CA.

"Led by the Holy Spirit, we pray for more than physical healing.  We pray for spiritual and emotional healing as well," Bill tells others.  "It's one thing to have the pain go away.  But unless the underlying root cause that led to it is dealt with, pain can return.  At the Healing Rooms we address those bitter root causes."

A question that many ask is, "Is healing for today?"  We and all the others who pray in the Healing Rooms want to assure you that the answer is, "Yes!"  Come in any time between 7:00 and 9:00 PM and see for yourself. Anyone desiring personal, private and confidential prayer for any physical, emotional or spiritual need is welcome.

In September of 2006 we opened our second Healing Rooms location in Lakeport, CA.  Originally open the first Monday of every month, our Northlake Healing Rooms are now open the first and third Monday of every month between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

In the two years that we have been open, we have conducted over twelve hundred individual prayer sessions for those who have come for prayer.

If you have never visited Clear Lake, CA, why don't you put us on your intinerary the next time you are in Northern California.  We'd be blessed to pray for you.

April 15, 2008 - Update

The Healing Rooms of Lake County was blessed last night, as it has been on two previous occasions, to join itself in ministry with another Lake County church family, the Cobb Mountain Community Fellowship of Cobb, Ca.  With the opening of its third prayer room location, we now minister in the cities of Clearlake and Lakeport and the community of Cobb, CA.

Two prayer teams prayed for seven people who came in for prayer our very first night. One young man prayed to receive Christ.  His mother credited the previous time she had come to the Healing Rooms for prayer with literally saving her life.

There were breakthroughs in forgiveness and reconciliation between family members and prayers for healing of the sick.

Two anointed prayer clothes were sent home for those who were not able to come in.
We are blessed to enter into this partnership with the Cobb Mountain Community Fellowship.  They have been so faithful in pursuing their God given vision to unite the Body of Christ in Lake County.

As one of our team members declared, "We've only just begun!"

Thank you Lord!  To You, alone, goes the glory.

Bill and Joan Edmunds, Directors

Healing Rooms of Lake County

May 31, 2008 - Update

The Healing Rooms of Lake County was blessed, again, to attend a one day training session lead by David Hauser, Our IAHR State representative, in Ukaih, CA.  Representatives from all three of our Healing Rooms teams, Clearlake, Lakeport and Cobb Mountain went to Ukiah to attend the first training offering of what we expect to be The Healing Rooms of Mendocino County.  Representatives from other Northern California Healing Rooms Ministries also attended.

Over forty people attended who were interested in either becoming a part of the newest Healing Rooms ministry in Northern California or to learn about the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR).  Following David's teaching, we held an impartation service and prayed, individualy, for all who desired it.  Representatives of the other Healing Rooms ministries who were there then prayed for directors, Dan and Victoria Buckly and Gayle Harris.
Healing Rooms ministries represented included: Healing Rooms of Lake County; Healing Rooms of the Redwood Coast (Fortuna, CA); Healing Rooms of Weott, Ca; Healing Rooms of Pasadina, Ca; and the International Association of Healing Rooms, Spokane, WA.
