Why do we meet in four locations?
Our county of Lake has only a population of approximately 65,000. Most of its residents live in the numerous, small communities that surround Clear Lake, the largest fresh water lake entirely inside California. Just about anywhere you want to go takes thirty to forty minutes driving time over dark, two lane, curving highways. People just don't like to go that far at night. Therefore, we decided to bring the Healing Rooms to them. So far it's working quite well.
To make this work, we have recruited Associate Directors, who are responsible for each of the four locations where we minister. We recently welcomed Doug and Patty Newbury as Associate Directors for the Healing Rooms of Lake County. They will be overseeing the opening of our newest Healing Rooms location in Middletown, CA. Michael Thompson was also added as an Associate Director for our Healing Rooms of Lake County in Lakeport as the result of his marrying Cruz Broverman (now Thompson). Jennie and David Digruttolo are the Associate Directors on Cobb Mountain.
Like individual pearls of a healing necklace, we hope to ring the entire Lake with Healing Rooms.
It's just a matter of God's timing.
