I am contacting you on behalf of the Spokane Regional Dementia Friends Community. We work through Aging and Long term Care of Eastern Washington, the area agency on aging. Dementia is a collection of symptoms caused by diseases of the brain with Alzheimer’s being the most common. Our goal is to create a community that supports people living with dementia and their families. We are reaching out to several sectors and faith-based communities are one specific focus.
