Louisiana Healing Rooms Blessed with a Building

Keith and Cindi Stone

Keith and Cindi Stone, our Louisiana State Healing Rooms Directors, saw a miracle of God as they entered a professional building guarded by two large statues of David to attend a closing on a building donated to them (Bluestone Ministries) by Joseph and Dianne Gioe.

The Gioe's former dream home was valued at $515,000 at the time of closing. They didn't have to pay any fees or closing costs. They were paid by the donors. Mrs. Gioe said that she always thought the house could be used as a ministry. Mr. and Mrs. Gioe's eyes welled with tears as Keith and Cindi told them how God had led them to the house and the circumstances they were in at the time they contacted them about donating the property to the ministry.

The 8600 sq. ft. building will become the Louisiana Healing Center where people can come and receive healing for physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. It will also be the training center for Healing Rooms, Louisiana. The Lord has also shown the Stones a vision of ministry leaders and pastors coming with their families for times of refreshing and renewal.

There is nothing like this in the Greater New Orleans area. In the midst of a place where people are recovering from the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, and now facing the loss of their way of life due to the oil spill, God in His infinite wisdom, has placed Keith and Cindi in Louisiana and given them this building "for such a time as this."

They now face the task of completing the restoration and renovation of the property, but have a great confidence that the Lord will see them through. Many have already helped with the construction process donating materials, time and money to what God is doing. They ask that you join them in prayer as they believe God for the $200,000 needed to finish the building. They are trusting Him to complete the work this year.

Recently the Lord gave Keith this verse and he believes this to be for the Healing Center: "I have heard your prayer and your petition. I have set this Temple apart to be holy- this place you have built where my name will be honored forever. I will always watch over it, for it is dear to my heart." (1 Kings 9:3)

Keith and Cindi hope this testimony will encourage you to stay the course that God has given you, or as a friend of theirs said, "Don't leave the place of your blessing." They know that if God has called you to do something in His Kingdom you can trust that He will see it through, even in tough times.
