There are three things a Healing Room does to benefit a community. First it equips the saints for the work of the service. This makes a Healing Room five fold according to Ephesians 4:11 - 12. The second thing it does is to bring unity to the Body of Christ according to Ephesians 4:13. All different faiths come together to work in unity at the ministry. The third thing it does is to heal and restore God's people. In this regard it is restorational to the church.

Because of this Healing Rooms are very unique. They focus on root causes to sickness. If we don't deal with the root of the problem then the symptom can return. God want to not just heal us, He wants to restore us in spirit, mind and body. He wants the whole man restored by the whole God. Without this we can have a past trauma being a present reality in a believer's life. This will cause us to not live in the fullness of the destiny God has for us.

Healing Rooms also become a benefit to the local church. We feel the pastor's job is equipping the saints, not fixing the saints. When believer's from the church come and become restored at the local Healing Room, they should return and become a benefit to the pastor.

As God's people come together to work as team members in a unity of Spirit, a family is created. This becomes very powerful in creating  support for one another. Also, as the team members work together, they grow much quicker into spiritual maturity. There is nothing like the satisfaction one receives when seeing the fruit of lives that are transformed through ordinary people doing extraordinary things.

We will never know the total benefits a Healing Room have on a community. There are stories we will never hear that come through lives that have been restored who move on and impact the world.

The question we might ask ourselves is, do I have a Healing Room in my community?

And, if not, is God calling me to start one?
