Prevailing in the Storm

As we move into the new year, the vision of Healing Rooms is stronger than ever. What keeps it strong is an ever increasing need for people to be healed. A world without Kingdom reality will only experience natural reality. With natural reality alone, we have to rely upon the world rather than the provision of God. The world's system isn't working. We have a faltering economy, health care systems that aren't working, wars in multiple nations, terrorism effecting travel and national security, and pandemic diseases around the world.

In this environment, without God, people cannot live in peace. You only have peace when your eyes are set upon Jesus. In this hour, healing rooms are needed more than ever. I've always said, "When you work in a healing room you will never run out of work." The enemy is not just bringing this devastation, he is trying to discourage us from bringing the answer. When things come against us, we can become weary and lose our vision. The enemy wants us to focus on the problem rather than the need of all those needing healing. It's a trap to cause us to quit. Our vision needs to constantly focus on the answer, not the problem. The answer brings healing to a city, the problem tries to shut it down. Jesus told us there will always be problems in John 16:33,

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation (problems), but take courage; I have overcome the world."

I used to think, Jesus overcame the world back then, but what about now? It's now that I have all these problems." I didn't realize that the word overcome wasn't referring to an event, but an ability that is now in us as the Body of Christ to overwhelmingly conquer by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus overcame the world so that we would have authority over all the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19) The word overcome in this scripture means to subdue, conquer, prevail and get the victory.

Today, as we operate in the Healing Rooms, no matter what comes against us, we can get victory because greater is He that is in us than he that comes against us. (1John 4:4) The key is to operate in a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Our source is heaven, not earth. We will always have peace in the storm if we keep our eyes on Jesus.
