How do I go about becoming a Prayer Team Member or volunteer in my local Healing Rooms?
To become involved with a Healing Rooms as a Prayer Team Member or a volunteer you must take a Group Training. This will allow you to understand the ministry of Healing Rooms and give you information as to why and how we minister in the Healing Rooms. Every Healing Rooms will have different needs for volunteers (i.e.: office work, computer, maintenance), so you will want to check with your local Healing Rooms.
Once you have taken the Group Training you will be given an application with a form for your pastor or spiritual authority to complete. You will give the form to your pastor and when your pastor has filled in the information he/she will return the form directly to the Healing Rooms, then you will be contacted to make an appointment to come for an interview.
How do I know I am called to be a part of Healing Rooms?
After you become acquainted with Healing Rooms through the Group Training, you will want to pray and seek God if this is the ministry He wants you to serve in.
Each Healing Rooms welcome new Prayer Team Members and volunteers (called by God) all the time. Some feel led to become a part of the Prayer Team, some gravitate toward the Intercessory Prayer Group, while others are interested in Helps ministry.
Please contact your local Healing Rooms for days and times of operation. You can also find dates and times for Group Training.
If you have further questions please contact the Healing Rooms closest to you.
