The Power of Truth - Cal Pierce
The power of Truth isn’t a book, it’s in a believer. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. You are the body of Christ. As the body of Christ, you are on the earth to walk in Truth. When you walk in Truth, you fulfill the promises of God and establish facts.
God created the world and everything in it. If this is true then God, who is Truth, created all facts. This makes Truth more real than facts. When we have this revelation, facts will not determine how we live. The fact that you are sick will not overthrow the Truth that you are healed. The Truth that you are healed must change the fact that you are sick. In 1 Corinthians 2:14 we are told, “The natural, or carnal, mind will not receive the things of the Spirit, they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned.”
The problem we have had is that we allow our carnal mind to filter Truth by facts. We have believed that the lie of the enemy that comes through facts is more real than the Truth that is God. True reality is the knowing of Truth that makes us free from the lie. (John 8:32) Facts aren’t Truth. Truth creates facts. When Truth fulfills the promises of God, facts are established.
The enemy uses facts to tempt us into believing they are truth. He wants us to believe that we are sick. When we buy into that we empower the lie and cancel the Truth. We must remember that greater is the Truth that is in us than the lie that comes against us. If we believe that we are sick, then one thing we know is that we are not healed.
Jesus said, “We have before us life (Truth) and death (lies).” Then He tells us to choose life. What Jesus is saying is we have authority over life and death. Which one we choose will give us power over the other. As believers, we have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. When we choose life, we will have power over sickness, poverty and death.
